The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) comprehensive plan of fire and emergency services was commissioned by Chief Tim Parker with approval of the LFPD board of directors. This report presents

the results of our efforts in developing a comprehensive plan, in conjunction with the City of Louisville's comprehensive plan, and an assessment of the surrounding district needs.

The LFPD has a history of using task forces and committees to increase participation in our decision making processes. We believe that the analysis and action plan provides a basis for future policy making, as well as, a method of ensuring quality and predictable fire and emergency services.
