Permits and Inspections
We are committed to making the district a safe place to live, work, and play. Our experienced staff delivers on this commitment by being knowledgeable on the current fire code, using current technology to assist our fire crews if they have to respond to your location, and being available to guide you through the life safety piece of the building process from planning to occupancy. We are here for you to provide any information that will help make your interaction with the division efficient, convenient, and interactive.
New Construction Guidelines
All permit submittals shall include: applicable code of design, professional or equivalent stamp, material data sheets, and accurate address (including suites) on all sheets. Fill out an application and submit all relavent documents below. Call 303-666-8809 if you have any questions about the process.
Current code cycles in District:
- City of Louisville: 2018 IFC, all NFPA standards most current editions per City amendments
- Town of Superior: 2018 IFC
- Unincorporated Boulder County: 2015 I Codes
Permits are valid for 180 days from date of issuance or until deemd otherwise, inspections will not be scheduled for expired permits.
