Fire Sprinkler Plan Review

Fill Out The Permit Form

Go to the “apply” tab on this page and complete the form. An emailed copy of the form submission will be emailed to the property owner’s email address indicated in the form.

Submitting Your Plans

The form allows you to upload up to three planning documents with your form. If you opted to submit your planning files separately, be sure they are emailed to prevention@louisvillefire.com.

Pay Your Plan Review & Permit Fees

You will be sent an invoice to the contact information included in the application.

Print and Attach to Your Building Plans

Once Complete your permit will be emailed to you.

Fire Sprinkler Plan Review Fees

If you have not yet completed a fire sprinkler plan review request, please do that first by going to the “apply” tab on this page. We will then send an invoice for payment to the contact information included.

Automatic Sprinkler System 13D,13, 13R & 2001 : >20 Heads $350

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to install, remove, abandon, place temporarily out of service, or otherwise dispose of. This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to install a new automatic sprinkler system in a multi-family residence, hotel, business or commercial facility.

Automatic Sprinkler System 13D, 13, 13R & 2001 : 21 – 100 Heads $500

Automatic Sprinkler System 13D, 13, 13R & 2001 : 101 – 150 Heads $750

Automatic Sprinkler System 13D, 13, 13R & 2001 : <150 Heads $1000

Automatic Sprinkler System Modification : >20 Heads $250

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to extend, modify, or alter an existing automatic sprinkler system.

Automatic Sprinkler System Modification : 21 – 100 Heads $500

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to extend, modify, or alter an existing automatic sprinkler system.

Automatic Sprinkler System Modification : 101 – 150 Heads $750

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to extend, modify, or alter an existing automatic sprinkler system.

Automatic Sprinkler System Modification : <150 Heads $1000

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to extend, modify, or alter an existing automatic sprinkler system.

Fire Pump : $175

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to install a fire pump.

Standpipe : $246

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to install a standpipe system.

Hood & Duct Fire Protection System : $350

This fee is required to obtain a construction permit to install hood and duct fire protection system.
